There is no denying that all the modern strategy and MMORPG games owe a fair amount of credit to the game that started it all. I am talking about World of Warcraft or WoW, as most of the people prefer calling it.
The thing about the game is that despite being really old, it still remains one of the most played games, and people love it for all the right reasons. It is addictive, and easy to get into.
To be honest, buying the game is the only thing that you need to be responsible about and everything is good to go.
If you are looking for articles that will tell you how you can get good in World of Warcraft, then I have to tell you that you are going to run into a lot of questions and some people might even tell you to not play the game because it has gotten old, and has not aged well either.
Well, the truth is that the game is certainly a lot different than it used to be, but that does not mean that you cannot pick it up and start playing it right away. As a matter of fact, the game has evolved a lot, and is being actively played by the hardcore fan base.
If you have just picked up the game, you may be wondering how you can get better at it, and that is why we are writing this article down that will help you with some tips to play World of Warcraft.
Use the Add-Ons
It is rather obvious that add-ons are there to help you play the game easily, and without many issues. They are there to improve your overall gameplay experience. However, the funny thing here is that not much information about the add-ons exist in the game to begin with.
The thing you need to understand here is that add-ons help you customize the game in ways you may have not thought possible. You can change the U I, as well as have the ability to handle difficult tasks rather easily. Make sure you use the add-ons if you want to make the experience easier for yourself.
Play With Friends
The thing about playing World of Warcraft is that it is never fun when you are playing alone. That is why the existence of guilds in the game is so common. Guilds in World of Warcraft are basically families that are there to kill the bosses, share the loot, and kill whatever comes in your way.
If you are a newcomer in the game, or if you just want to get better at the game, then do play with a friend, or friends.
I can assure you, the real fun begins when you are playing with your friends in a guild.
Don’t Start Enchanting the Items from the Get Go
One of the most important thing about the World of Warcraft that you need to know is that you need to avoid enchanting the items from the start.
Sure, it will look like an interesting thing to do, but the thing is that once you start leveling up the character, you are probably going to get rid of the item, and along with that, the enchantment will go away. So, make sure that you avoid that at all costs.
Avoid Spending at Auction House
If you are playing World of Warcraft for the intense PVP combat, then the good news is that auction house is where you should be going. However, the worst thing about auction house is that the place is not at all good for buying items.
The reason behind that is rather simple, players who are selling stuff in this place are going to charge you ridiculously high for the items that are on sale. These ridiculously high prices are not even considered cheating, so you can pretty much encounter some ridiculously priced items.
Damage Meters are Really Handy
There is no denying that some people on the internet will suggest you to stay away from add-ons but if you happen to be a new player, then using add-ons is something that I will definitely suggest.
The thing with World of Warcraft is that there are several portions of the game that might make it feel incomplete for one reason or the other. I know chasing DPS is not always the best thing ever but how do you expect to be a stronger player if you do not even know how much damage you could deal in the first place.
That is why damage meters are important.
Pay Attention to Item Levels
Just like many other games, items in World of Warcraft are colour coded in order to tell the players about the best ones, and the worst ones. The best weapons are coded with purple colour, with green being the worst colour that you can get, and blue being the middle one.
This is important for newcomers that if you do come across a purple weapon that is above your level, don’t just throw it away thinking that it is completely useless. Keep it with you until you actually level up so you can wreck as much carnage as you want.
Don’t be Afraid to Die
World of Warcraft will make you a patient player. Which basically means that you will be dying every now and then, but don’t worry. While you might die a lot in the game, it will certainly leave you with a lot of memories, and moments that will make you wonder whether you actually survived the encounters are not.
Needless to say, once you start playing World of Warcraft, you will slowly realise what an amazing game it is, and if you are afraid of dying, then you should just know that you will slowly get better at the game, and once you do you will no longer have any issues with the game because by that time, you will become an expert in the game.
World of Warcraft as a game is anything but consistent, however, the one thing that I am sure about is that the game has been around for a long time, and has become one of the most consistent games that you can play in the market at the moment.
Sure, there is a learning curve that you must overcome, but other than that, the game does not demand a lot from you.
Whether you are a beginner who is looking to get better at the game, or someone who just picked up the game again after a long hiatus, these tips are actually going to help you get better at the game.
Again, just remember that being consistent is the key in this game, because with every major upgrade, the tide of the game changes drastically, making it a lot more different from it was before the update.
