Albeit a bit old, the Razer Blade Pro is packed with amazing specs; the laptop comes with a gorgeous 4K screen that offers G-Sync as well as multi-touch. Additionally, you get GTX 1080 that happens to be the star of the show aside from the screen.

The laptop comes equipped with a fully mechanical keyboard that is a wonder to use. In order to properly accommodate the hardware, and manage the thinness of this laptop, Razer has moved the trackpad to right, which makes a lot more sense. Even through you would be using a mouse for gaming, it still is a good placement.

For those wondering, the laptop does come with everyone’s favourite RGB. Last but not the least, this is perhaps one of the most powerful laptops that you can easily carry in your backpacks, thanks to the thin and light design, which does shock you at first.

To be very honest, the only downside at this point is the abysmal battery life; the laptop manages to last only 5 hours, which is poor for a laptop this expensive.

Overall, the Razer Blade Pro is one beast of a machine that is in a thin and light chassis. You can carry full desktop grade performance with you, and that too, with ease. The only issue here is that you will need to carry the charger with you because the battery life is not good at all.

Now Acer is known for some amazing products, and their Predator series of components is geared towards people who take gaming seriously. The same is the case with the Acer Predator Triton 700 that we are looking at in today’s review.

As you already know, we are catering to gaming laptops that come with GTX 1080, this one does too, however, this one uses the MaxQ design, which means that the performance is slightly slower than the regular sized desktop variant.

It is not a bad thing by any means, because by reducing the performance, Acer has managed to reduce the thickness of the laptop as well. The overall design is gorgeous, and this is one of the best looking gaming laptops available in the market. The gaming performance is great through and through.

There are some downsides though, I tried really hard to overcome them, but they just would not budget. For starters, the battery life is average at best, and the touchpad placement is awkward at best. Something that I do not prefer at all.

In conclusion, the Acer Predator Triton 700 is one heck of a gaming laptop, and it happens to be extremely powerful as well.

The only downside is the fact that it is marred by terrible battery life. But once you are okay with that, you get a gaming laptop that offers stellar performance, and most importantly, something that can be carried around with ease.
